Siliconera is reporting that a new Front Mission game is in the works.

According to a source at Square Enix, the Japanese developer and publisher has begun work on a new Front Mission title. The game is reportedly being developed by Square Enix Japan under the leadership of former From Software producer Toshifumi Nabeshima (Armored Core V).

The last entry in the series was the 2010 spin-off title Front Mission Evolved.
