Yacht Club Games has announced, via a blog post, the release date for Shovel Knight's first DLC package, Plague of Shadows.
Plague of Shadows adds a new mode that becomes available once you complete the main campaign. In this mode, players take on the role of popular Shovel Knight boss Plague Knight. The update also includes a new Challenge Mode.
Plague of Shadows will be available for all regions on September 17th and is free for everyone that owns a copy of Shovel Knight.
