Halo's twin-stick shooter, which released on Windows 8 platform in July, is now set to release on Xbox 360 and Xbox One as well. In a blog post on the Halo Waypoint, 343 Industries and Vanguard Games announced that Halo: Spartan Assault will be available for the consoles as a digital download this December.
New features and additional content will be added for the console release, including a brand new co-op multiplayer mode, new co-op missions, the Operation Hydra single player expansion, and new weapons, armor abilities and upgrades. The Flood will also make an appearance in the game for the first time.
