Nintendo of America announced that Yoshi's New Island will release for the Nintendo 3DS on March 14th in North America, both at retail and on the Nintendo 3DS eShop. A release date for Europe was not announced.
Yoshi's New Island is the next game in the platforming series starring Yoshi and Baby Mario. The game is being produced by Takashi Tezuka, the creative director of the original Yoshi’s Island for the Super Nintendo Entertainment System and will include flutter jumps, egg throws and various other features from that title.
