Nintendo has announced that it will begin selling digital versions of its Wii games on the Wii U eShop.
Super Mario Galaxy 2 will be made available later today, whilst Donkey Kong Country and the Metroid Prime Trilogy will arrive on the 29th of January. Kirby's Adventure, Pandora's Tower, Punch-Out!! and Sin & Punishment will also be added to the Wii U eShop in the future, although no date has been given for these titles yet.
Each game will be heavily discounted to £8.99 for the first week on sale, with each title returning to a standard price of £17.99 afterwards. No word has been given on North American pricing yet.
