Desmond Miles was a main protagonist in the Assassin's Creed franchise, being the link between the real world and the world of the past. He was an American born bartender descended from numerous legendary Assassins, among them Altaïr Ibn-La'Ahad, Ezio Auditore da Firenze and Connor Kenway, the protagonists of each of the first three main Assassin's Creed games.

Davy Jones is a cursed captain of the Flying Dutchman and a main antagonist from the Pirates of the Caribbean films Dead Man's Chest and At World's End. Originally a normal man, Jones fell in love with the goddess Calypso and was tasked with ferrying the souls of those lost at sea. Betrayed by Calypso, Jones cut out his heart and place it in Dead Man's Chest before gathering the Pirate Brethren and imprisoning Calypso away in human bonds. Cursed for abandoning his job as the ferryman, Jones and his crew were turned into sea monsters and ruled the seas with the Kraken at his side.

Dark Sun Gwyndolin is the leader of the Blade of the Darkmoon covenant and the youngest of Lord Gwyn children in Dark Souls. He can be found in the lowest level of Anor Londo's moving spiral staircase and required the Darkmoon Seance Ring to reveal the hidden staircase by the bonfire.

Dusk of Oolacile was a princess of Ooalcile when it was attacked by the Abyss and a magic trainer of sorcery in Dark Souls. She is found in Darkroot Basin, trapped inside a Golden Crystal Golem that only appears in the water after the Hydra is defeated.

Dajh Katzroy is a minor character in Final Fantasy XIII and Final Fantasy XIII-2. He is the son of Sazh Katzroy and the motivation for Sazh's actions in both games. Losing his mother three years before the events of the first game, Sazh has taken care of him as a single parent.
