Originally a normal man, Jones fell in love with the goddess Calypso and was tasked with ferrying the souls of those lost at sea. Betrayed by Calypso, Jones cut out his heart and place it in Dead Man's Chest before gathering the Pirate Brethren and imprisoning Calypso away in human bonds. Cursed for abandoning his job as the ferryman, Jones and his crew were turned into sea monsters and ruled the seas with the Kraken at his side.

Jack Sparrow

Jack Sparrow is the main character and protagonist of the Pirates of the Caribbean series. He is a legendary pirate  and captain of the Black Pearl, which he lost to Barbossa in a mutiny and later regained after killing him. He was born on a ship during a typhoon, and his father was Edward Teague, a notorious pirate. He is known to be a trickster, having caused trouble for many people during his travels.
