Davy Jones is a cursed captain of the Flying Dutchman and a main antagonist from the Pirates of the Caribbean films Dead Man's Chest and At World's End. Originally a normal man, Jones fell in love with the goddess Calypso and was tasked with ferrying the souls of those lost at sea. Betrayed by Calypso, Jones cut out his heart and place it in Dead Man's Chest before gathering the Pirate Brethren and imprisoning Calypso away in human bonds. Cursed for abandoning his job as the ferryman, Jones and his crew were turned into sea monsters and ruled the seas with the Kraken at his side.

Hector Barbossa is a pirate captain and villian in the Pirates of the Caribbean series. In Curse of the Black Pearl, Barbossa was the first-mate aboard Jack Sparrow's ship, The Black Pearl, and convinced Sparrow to give him the location of the treasure before staging a mutiny. He appears as the villain of Port Royale in Kingdom Hearts II and will be a playable character in Disney Infinity.

Jack Sparrow is the main character and protagonist of the Pirates of the Caribbean series. He is a legendary pirate  and captain of the Black Pearl, which he lost to Barbossa in a mutiny and later regained after killing him. He was born on a ship during a typhoon, and his father was Edward Teague, a notorious pirate. He is known to be a trickster, having caused trouble for many people during his travels.

Hatty Hattington is a key character in the game BattleBlock Theater. He is the best friend of the player-character but he is also one of the game's antagonists.

Spock is a main protagonist of the original Star Trek series and appears in most games that feature the original cast. He is the science officer aboard the starship USS Enterprise and is known for his mixed heritage of human and Vulcan.

Bowser is the main antagonist in the Mario series of games, usually kidnapping Princess Peach and trying to take over the Mushroom Kingdom. His first appearance was in Super Mario Bros. in 1985, and he has been in almost every Mario game since then, where he is usually thwarted by the moustached plumber, Mario, himself.

Mario is Nintendo's mascot and has appeared in over 200 games since he was created. His first appearance was in the original Donkey Kong in 1981, where he was simply known as Jumpman, but his name was changed to Mario in 1982, with the debut of Donkey Kong Junior.
