BioShock is a survival horror first-person shooter video game developed by 2K Boston (now known as Irrational Games) and designed by Ken Levine. A sequel, BioShock 2, was developed by 2K Marin and released in 2010 and a third title in the series, BioShock Infinite, again developed by Irrational Games is scheduled for a 2013 release.
