Dishonored is a stealth action-adventure game that is available on the PC, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3. It was developed by Arkane Studios and is published by Bethesda Softworks. The game was released on October 9, 2012 in the US, October 11 in Japan, and October 12 in Europe.
Dishonored follows Corvo Attano, a legendary bodyguard who is framed for the murder of the Empress whom he was sworn to protect, and who works with a group called the Loyalists to restore the monarchy and have his revenge.

Story
You are the once-trusted bodyguard of the Empress. Framed for her murder and driven by revenge, you must become an infamous assassin, known only by the disturbing mask that has become your calling card.
Gameplay
Dishonored is played in first-person perspective, with an emphasis on stealth and action. Every mission is in a self-contained area, with many different ways to complete it. In between missions, Corvo is in a central hub, where he may acquire new weapons, upgrade abilities, among other things.

Supernatural Powers
Corvo gains supernatural powers when he mysteriously gets The Outsider's mark on his left hand during his first visit to The Hound Pits, although he may meet others who share similar abilities like his. In order to learn new powers, one must acquire Runes; the more powerful the power, the more Runes that are required. Runes can also be used to improve the abilities. It is not possible to learn all powers in a single playthrough, as there aren't enough Runes that can be gathered.

Piero's Workshop
When you first arrive at The Hound Pits Pub, you will have access to Piero's Workshop, who will sell you upgrades to equipment, as well as general items. These items and upgrades cost Coins, which you can get by picking up certain items and also can be found laying around in various places. Also, when you collect Blueprints, more upgrades will be added to the shop.
Collectibles
The collectibles in Dishonored can be divided in four major categories: Bone Charms, Runes, Outsider Shrines and Sokolov Paintings.
DLC
On October 25, 2012, Bethesda announced three DLCs for Dishonored. The first is Dunwall City Trials, which will arrive in December. The second, a story-driven one, will be released in Spring of 2013. The third, another story-driven one, has no details released thus far.
