In Survival mode you have no goal other than survive from hostile mobs and starvation, what you do with yourself other than surviving is up to you. In this mode (unless playing on peaceful) you will have to deal with the daily challenges of securing food for yourself and dealing with hostile mobs who roam the world during the night. Your day can consist of various of task like exploring a cavern, mining for minerals, cutting down trees, growing crops, building a secure shelter and more. The player will also be crafting often to make tools to gather resources and other conventional items like furnaces to cook food. As the player progresses through the world they will start to use enchanting to give special properties to their armor, tools and weapons as well as brewing potions with various effects. This modes “end” happens after the player slays the Enderdragon in the dimension known as The End, after the dragons slaying the a portal will open up and after stepping through credits will start to roll.
