Choosing a career is always hard even in today's world. You have to balance your skills verus what you like and do not like. The careers in Sims 3 follows the same pattern. Depending on the traits you choose for your sim, along with the skills that they have developed will influence the job that you choose.  The beauty of the game though is simply that you do not have to choose a formal career unless you want. There are always other ways of making sure your bills are paid on time!

Challenges

The Sims 3 game has over 300 challenges that you can do if you are like me and want to experience every single aspect of the game. It is time consuming and some challenges will unlock other perks in the game (depending on the platform you are using). Overall though it is rewarding so that the game does not get too stale.

As if there was not enough character forming available Sims 3 gives you the option of these perks listed below. As your sim goes on throughout their life they have specific wishes. If a wish gets "granted" then you recieve points, which then can be spent on these options. Some of these perks are helpful if you are trying to topple a challenge.
