Joseph Staten
Staten has worked at Bungie since 1998. His hiring was the result of multiple chance meetings with Bungie employees during online matches of Myth. He has written and contributed to the fiction for all major Halo games, including Halo 3: ODST, Halo: Reach and Halo Wars. Staten acted as Director of Cinematics for Halo: Combat Evolved, Halo 2 and Halo 3. He was responsible for all in-game cutscenes and wrote all of the mission scripts for the trilogy. He is currently working on Bungie's upcoming and unannounced non-Halo game. Staten is also a published author, writing the Halo-based novel Contact Harvest. Its plot focuses on young Marine Sergeant Avery Johnson, a popular character from the Halo games, as well as humanity's first encounter with the alien force known as The Covenant. The book garnered critical acclaim and reached number 3 on the New York Times bestseller list. Staten attended Norhtwestern University and had hopes of becoming an actor, but he eventually left for the University of Chicago where he studied military history and political science, for which he received a masters degree. -

Hiroshi Yamauchi
Hiroshi Yamauchi was a Japanese businessman, born in Kyoto, Japan, and is credited for making Nintendo the video game company it is today, having transformed it from a hanafuda card-making company. In 1949, he became the third president of Nintendo, which he stayed as for more than fifty years, eventually being succeeded by Satoru Iwata in 2002. It was on September 19, 2013, that Yamauchi passed away due to complications from pneumonia. -

Hideki Kamiya
Hideki Kamiya is a video game designer who began his career at Capcom in 1994. He was one of the few employees to work on Resident Evil with series creator Shinji Mikami. In 1998, he made his first directorial debut on Resident Evil 2. He later directed Devil May Cry and the original Viewtiful Joe. He joined Clover Studio in 2004 and designed Okami, but after the studio went defunct two years later, him and the other Clover Studio members formed PlatinumGames. -

Matt Ryan
Matt Ryan is a stage and television actor. Born in Swansea, Wales, as a child he appeared in the West End production of Les Misérables as Gavroche. He later attended Gorseinon College, where he completed a BTEC Performing Arts course, and then graduated from the Bristol Old Vic in 2003 and joined the Royal Shakespeare Company in 2004.
