I have finished this level a thousand times already, made no mistakes, and I still can't get three stars. Anyone?

You've got to go without using the injector, and finish with a couple minutes left, I think. Also, super fast combos help.
As for Ed scape, you just let the bugs hop around for a while, leaving a bunch of cuts, and then kill them without a mistake so you can heal everything with really fast combos. -
I'm having the same issue with ed scape!!
