Notice the firewood next to the fireplace. Press the leftmost log and place it in the fire. Next, look closely at the fountain on the right. There is wheel at the bottom of it. Press it to turn the fountain on. Now remember the pot you collected from the first room is still in your inventory. Select it and place it next to the water. As the pot fills with water, select it again and use it to extinguish the fire in the fireplace. As the fire is put out, you will observe a key lying on the firewood. Pick it up and use it to unlock the door and exit this room.
