Tips and Strategies
Intensity Meter
As the game progresses the intensity meter will eventually go all the way up to 10. As this happens the games become a bit harder and there will be less time given to complete each task.
Beard Talk
You can use your money to unlock each brother’s voice to hear their ‘advice from the Bayou and Beyond’. This is an add-on that lets you hear the characters speak their minds, with a number of popular quotes from the show. It also unlocks a few new challenges in the mini-games.
How to Complete Blow Up The Blind
You need to push down the detonator just as the marker passes the red zone in order to successfully complete Blow Up The Blind mini-game. It must be inside the increasingly small section tho for the blind to blow up.
How to Throw a Conut
By using gentle finger flicks will send the donuts spinning towards the brother’s mouth.
A Ribbiting Way to Catch Frogs
Catching frogs isn’t as easy as just tapping them. You need to swipe them from the frog to the bucket. Wait for the frog to leap to a new pad before dragging them down.
How to Tape up a Box
You need to draw a line right along the length of the box seal. Miss a bit and the score will not register. You also need to start taping on the box itself not beyond the edges.
How to Dye your Beard
Dying beards is actually really easy although it is not obvious what it is you need to do in the game. Take one finger and very rapidly swipe backwards and forwards right across the brother’s beard.
Dove Hunt Tip
In Dove Hunt do not shoot the grey birds, aim only at the pure white ones.
Duck Shooting Tips
Your shotgun in the duck shooting section of the game takes a long time to reload. The shotgun shells will actually pass through more than one bird, so if you have enough time wait for them to overlap.
How to Throw a Pepper
To toss peppers, just like the minigame make sure you use gentle, accurate shots.
Waking up Si!
Waking up Si is easy, simply hold a finger down on him and then move it side to side to rock him awake.
How to Fish
To fish on Battle of the Beards simply hold your finger down on the fishing hook and then move it down into the ocean until it touches a fish’s mouth. Let go of the screen straight away and it will be fished up and added to your total.
Customize your Character
It is easy to customize your character. As you progress you will find shirts, pants, hats, beanies, glasses and bandanas to dress them up in including Duck Dynasty labelled wear. Some of the clothing options don’t unlock until your level up which you can easily do by continuing to play through mini-games. It is definitely worth it.
Earning Coins
If you need to earn more coins on Duck Dynasty: Battle of the Beards you need to successfully complete rounds in each mini-game. You get three turns to do this, and take home the reward, The higher the intensity level, the more you win.
