Never mind - I found them in the utility room

you need to take a tissue from the museum reception desk, then you go to night mode, take the gum with the tissue and then go day time mode and stick the gum under the beam and then use the compact.

During the day, place the gum slightly under where the beam would come out. Use the compact to divert the beam by sticking it to the gum.

you can find the gum at the parking garage(day) at the parking machine b4 leaving.. just use the tissue u get from the ticket & passes counter on it.
