Since the reveal of Rayman Legends, it was assumed that the game would be a Wii U exclusive. But today, Ubisoft Montreal tweeted news to the contrary - Rayman Legends will broaden its horizons and release on the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 this September.
There is, however, bad news for Wii U owners. According to Ubisoft's press release, "All versions now will hit shelves in early September 2013." This certainly suggests that the Wii U version, orginially scheduled for later this month, will be delayed to release simultaneously with the PS3 and 360 versions of the game.

Jarrod GarripoliI really hope this one does better sales-wise, as I would love for Ubisoft to continue making these kinds of games. Platformers are one of my favorite genres. -
MachinaI'm happy too. I loved Origins and really wanted to be able to play Legends but don't intend to buy a Wii U, so this is great news for me. -
Jarrod GarripoliIt sucks that it's delayed, but I'm happy that I won't need a Wii U to experience this game. Although I never played Rayman Origins, I've heard nothing but great things about it. I've also heard it sold poorly, so that must be why Legends is going multi.
