The PlayStation 4 has outsold both the Xbox One and Wii U every month since it launched in November 2013. The Xbox One outsold the Wii U in November for the 17th straight month. The PS4 outsold the Xbox One by 1,406,429 units for the month and the Wii U by 2,946,267 units. The Xbox One outsold the Wii U by 1,539,838 units.
When you compare monthly sales to a year ago the PlayStation 4 and Wii U are up, while the Xbox One is down. The PlayStation 4 is up 1,094,156 units, the Xbox One is down 58,890 units, and the Wii U is up 21,917 units.
Looking at market share for the month of November, the PlayStation 4 managed to achieve 57 percent. The Xbox One accounted for 34 percent of the consoles sold, and the Wii U a modest nine percent.
