It’s been over two years since Starbound first publicly launched via Steam Early Access, but it seems developer Chucklefish Games is almost ready to officially launch the title that many had pegged as the next Terraria.
Chucklefish Games has announced that the next update - which has no release date at present - will officially push Starbound into version 1.0.
This updated version of the game will include a completed story arc (previous versions of the game only allowed players to complete some of the game’s story) and new features, such as multi-biomed worlds, extra dungeons, and the ability to create a star crew.
