2K Sports has officially announced NBA 2K17. This year's version of the game is heavily focussed on retiring basketball legend Kobe Bryant, who graces the front cover (see banner above) of a 'Legend Edition' of the title.

The Legend Edition will only launch on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, both at retail and digitally. The standard version (with the cover star yet to be announced) of the game will release this September on PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360, Xbox One, and Windows PC.
