Problem with Boat?

Island Experiment

The link to "Venture on an Expedition" has been disabled so I cannot upgrade my boat. What am I missing?

    I have the same problem... but since the sideplay vacation storyline is finished.. I STILL have the exact same screenshot. I cannot venture, so I cannot earn coins, so I cannot upgrade...

    With the new sideplay, with the airplane, they disabled the boat.

    Since the in-game chat became available, Island Experiment runs too slow to play - even when the chat is "hidden". Is there a way to disable the chat altogether...
