An online game for five to eight people, Werewolves Within aims to replicate the feel of playing Werewolves, the classic classic party game of sleuthing and lies, in a close group by taking advantage of positional tracking, character animation based on voice-inflection analysis, and natural gestures.

To discover the disguised werewolves among them, players will need to draw on randomly assigned roles and abilities, as well as a guidebook filled with hints, all to inform a vote on who they think the werewolf is. Rounds are meant to be played quickly, throwing players into new roles and onto different sides and ensuring a different experience every time.
