Star Fox Command is probably the most hated game. I will say why in this review. First, the story (or I should say stories). Command finds you facing a new threat known as the Anglars (a fish like race). Here's the kicker; you're alone. The game starts with a small slide show explaining the disbanding of the team; Fox kicks Krystal off the team for fear of her being killed (Krystal now hates Fox with a passion), Falco searches for some action, Slippy is engaged, and Peppy becomes the new General. Fox learns of the new threat and contacts Slippy; he joins you in the fight. Throughout the game, you make decisions that will affect the outcome of the game. Along the way, members of the team will join you in the fight if you choose correctly. In the end, you destroy the anglars; however there are multiple ways of doing it. Your decisions will seriously make this game whack. Now for the endings; the game contains multiple story endings that are all completely outrageous (except for the one where the team is back together). Here are two of the worst; Fox fails to get Krystal back so Falco decides to cheer him up by taking him G-Racing (a reference to F-Zero), the ending states that they become so into it that they completely forget about everything they used to be (Slippy, Krystal, Peppy, the Aparoids, Anglars, Andross, everything) ; they only know of their racing past. Another is when Krystal leaves Lylat and changes her name into Kursed; the line states that she fails to get Fox back and is haunted by her choices, she leaves the system and becomes a bounty hunter named Kursed. In the end, Fox meets her and does not recognize her. Gameplay is pretty new; it is similar to Star Fox 2 where you must draw your ships into the enemy. There is multiplayer, but it is very low on standards and is basically fly and shoot.
2 out of 5
Story was confusing and horrible, characters were badly drawn, gameplay was frustrating
