As VG24/7 reported this morning, a number of major gaming sites are reporting that Gearbox Software (the developer behind the popular Borderlands franchise, and the less popular Aliens: Colonial Marines) are working on two brand new properties for next generation platforms.
No further details are forthcoming, but it's good to know that Gearbox are working on not just one, but two brand new IPs.
