    you can use a frog guard as it learns armor break. and then other monster with high attack you will win easily.

    If I'm not mistaken, the general transforms into an Air Mk-II. If you could get your hands on a monster with the Armorbreak skill, such as an Air Mk-I, you will be able to get past this easily.
