Dragon Overlord Babylon is the oldest Overlord in the Makai Kingdom cosmos and once ruled over it all. It is said that he used to have near limitless mana power when he was younger, but lost it after he was cursed by a mysterious being known only as "The One". After resisting the curse, Babylon was left a shadow of his former self and slowly wasted away over the millennia, becoming senile and forgetful.

Babylon can be recruited and played as in human form by traveling back in time to when Babylon was in power and defeat him. It is then revealed that it was in fact Zetta who took most of Babylon's power, making him The One. This contrasts the Good Ending statement by Ophelia that she is The One. It can therefore be thought that Babylon did not lose his powers at all, to Zetta or The One, but that he became depressed after his defeat and allowed his powers to diminish.
