Gabriel Belmont is the main protagonist of Castlevania: Lords of Shadow.
He was orphaned as a child and subsequently adopted by the Brotherhood of Light. He turned out to be a great student and showed superb skill, adopting the name of Belmont, which is French for "Beautiful Mountains."
During the events of the game, he is searching for a way to bring back his dead wife, Marie. His main weapon is the Combat Cross, which is also known as the Vampire Killer, as well as other weapons, such as Silver Daggers and Holy Water.
