Taiga Saejima is a playable character from Yakuza 4 and Yakuza 5. He is a very large man with a tattoo of a tiger on his back, which is a pun on his name. He was imprisoned for having killed 18 members of the Ueno Seiwa Clan by himself, but later escaped from prison after being transferred to Okinawa shortly before his execution. After falling into the water and washing up ashore, he meets up with Haruka Sawamura and Kazuma Kiryu.
