Templar Assassin (Dota 2) - Templar Assassin Skills

First Ability

Refraction [Keybind: Q]

No Target Self Physical
Manipulating her psionic veil, Templar Assassin becomes highly elusive, avoiding damage while gaining a bonus to her damage. These effects are separate, and have a limited number of instances.
  • Duration: 3/4/5/6 attacks or 17 seconds
  • Bonus Damage: 20/40/60/80
  • Cooldown: 17 seconds
  • Mana Cost: 100
Lore: Manipulating her psionic veil, Lanaya bends nature's law to her will.
  • Is not blocked by Spell Immunity.
  • Is not blocked by Linken's Sphere.
  • Cannot be purged.
  • Direct HP Removal does not trigger the damage block.
  • The instance blocking and damage bonus are independent of each other.
  • Only instances of more than 5 damage (after all reductions) will remove a charge.
  • Disables go through Refraction.
  • Refraction bonus damages add to Lanaya's raw attack damage bonus, which can be a critical strike when it procs.
  • While Refraction's damage block is active, Lanaya and her allies will see a visual effect around her (a white "forcefield"). This is not visible to the enemy.
  • Whenever Refraction blocks an instance of damage, a small visual effect will occur. This is visible to both allies and enemies.
  • While Refraction's self-damage bonus is active, Lanaya gains a visual effect (her psi-blades will be longer and glow more). This is visible to both allies and enemies.

Second Ability

Meld [Keybind: W]

Templar Assassin conceals herself, gaining invisibility while remaining still. On the next attacked enemy unit, Lanaya will reduce its armor and deal bonus damage to it.
  • Invisibility Duration: Indefinite
  • Bonus Damage: 50/100/150/200
  • Armor Reduction: 2/4/6/8
  • Armor Reduction Duration: 10
  • Cooldown: 7 seconds
  • Mana Cost: 50
Lore: Lanaya is as elusive as her covenant with the Hidden Temple.
  • Is not blocked by Spell Immunity.
  • Is not blocked by Linken's Sphere.
  • Can be purged.
  • Armor reduction doesn't work against towers unlike Corruption.
  • Meld is broken by any action, including moving, attacking, spelling or using items and so on.
  • The bonus damage and armor reduction is only applied if Meld is broken by attacking a unit.
  • The armor debuffs don't stack with each other.
  • The invisibility has a fade time of 0.001 seconds.
  • Meld places a buff on the Templar Assassin rendering her invisible. It is not channeling spell, and will therefore not be broken by stuns or silence. On the other hand, it will be broken by any abilities that change the Meld posture, such as Knock-back of Greater Bash, Tornado.
  • An attack using Meld consists of 2 separate parts of damage; normal and Meld bonus damage. Only the normal damage part can be a critical strike when it procs.
  • Meld bonus damage itself benefits from Meld armor reduction at the buff-applying instance, while normal damage part does not benefit.

Third Ability

Psi Blades [Keybind: E]

Passive Enemies Pure
Templar Assassin's psi blades slice through the attacked unit, spilling and damaging enemy units directly behind it, while gaining bonus attack range.
  • Bonus Attack Range: 60/120/180/240
  • Spilled Damage Area of Effect: 80 width, 615/655/695/735 length
  • Spill Range: 590/630/670/710
Lore: Her blades pierce the skin as much as the mind, furthering her understanding of the mystery that is reality.
  • Damage will only be blocked by Spell Immunity if the magic immune unit is not the primary target.
  •  Illusions can use the bonus attack range, but not the damage spill.
  • Is not blocked by Linken's Sphere.
  • Spilled damage hits invisible units.
  • Attack effects (like Unique Attack Modifiers) will only will be applied to the primary target.
  • Psi Blades do not spill damage when attacking illusions.

Ultimate Ability

Psionic Trap [Keybind: R]

Templar Assassin places mystical traps that invisibly monitor enemy movement. When sprung, at her command, they exert a slowing influence of 30% in the area. Traps charge up to slow more by 5% for each second up to 50%
  • Cast Range: 2000
  • Maximum Traps: 5/8/11
  • Fade Time: 2
  • Trap Duration: Permanent
  • Cooldown: 11/8/5
  • Mana Cost: 15
Lore: Calling upon the reach of the Hidden Temple, none escape the eye of the Templar.
  • Slow is blocked by Spell Immunity.
  • Slow is not blocked by Linken's Sphere.
  • Slow can be Purged.
  • Traps are magic immune and have 100 HP and 0 armour.
  • Traps do not prevent neutral creeps from spawning.
  • Traps have 300/300 vision range.
  • Psionic Trap has a gold bounty of 1 and an experience bounty of 12.
  • It will take 4 seconds after the trap is placed to reach the maximum slow of 50% from the trap. Starts at 30% and increases by 5% each second until it reaches 50%.
Spring Trap [Keybind: Q]
Ability
No Target
Springs the trap, slowing nearby enemies.
  • Radius: 375
  • Slow: 50%
  • Duration: 5
  • Cooldown: 0.5 seconds.
