Gio is a playable character in Atelier Rorona and Atelier Meruru.
He is King of Arland. When Arland becomes a republic, Gio suddenly disappears. He later shows up as Masked G, a sort of super-hero coming to rescue those in need. Gio is Meruru's uncle and also a confident for her. He is super-strong : even Sterknever succedeed in beating him.
