Mao is a major playable character in Tales of Rebirth, first intriduced very ealy on being accompanied by Eugene a Gajuma warrior. Mao utilizes tonfas for combat as well as long range fire spells. Mao is a very cheerful character who likes to make the best of most situations. Upon meeting Veigue he uses his fire force to free Claire from her ice prison.
