Luphan (Ayatane Kureha Kirinami) is a member of the Teru Tribe and a main antagonist in Ar tonelico Qoga: Knell of Ar Ciel. Originally introduced as a member of the Great Fang Militia, and Gengai's right hand, he is later revealed to be a descendant of the Teru Tribe, which inflicted the catastrophic Grathnode Inferia.
Luphan, like his ancestors, has an intense hatred for humankind and believes that Reyvateils are the Mothers of the new world. Plotting to use the Wills of the Planet to destroy humanity and create a world called Reyvateilia, Luphan makes pacts with the Antibody Brain, Ar Ru, and Suzunomia to release the Antibodies.
