Shin is a childhood friend of the Heroine and a love interest in the Amnesia series. When he was just a child, his father accidentally killed a drunk and became labelled as a murderer. Since then, Shin has had a hard time since no one wanted to be seen with a murderer's son.
A reserved and mysterious person, Shin loves the Heroine in his route, the Heart World, and sees her as a little sister in the others. He carries a heavy emotional burden due to his father's past, and the social stigma has made him an outcast to everyone except the Heroine and Toma. He also blames himself for the injuries the Heroine received in the Shinano trip incident.
