Ukyo is a famous photographer and a recurring character in the Amnesia series. Suffering from multiple personalities, Ukyo can be kind and caring when OmoteUkyo is in control or dangerous and menacing when UraUkyo is in control.
In the true canon story, the Heroine and Ukyo met and began dating. But when she fell into a coma after being caught in a fire on August 1, she died on August 25 without every having woken up. Wishing to see her again, Ukyo merged his body with the soul of a wish-granting god called Neil and traveled to other worlds. Unfortunately, the two never existed together in these worlds and he kept being killed, due to being an anomaly in the universe. As a last resort, Neil returned Ukyo back to his world and turned back time to August 1st, allowing Ukyo to rescue the Heroine from her fate.
