First Ability

Frost Blast [Keybind: Q]

Blasts the target enemy unit with damaging frost, dealing area damage and slowing movement and attack rates for 4 seconds. The primary target takes the most damage.

  • Area Damage: 75/100/125/150
  • Movement Speed Slow: 30%
  • Attack Speed Slow: 20%
  • Cooldown: 8 seconds
  • Mana Cost: 125/150/170/190
Lore: Frost-mage Ethreain has not forgotten even the simplest of ice manipulation.
  • Is blocked by Spell Immunity.
  • Slow can be purged.
  • Only blocked by Linken's Sphere if targetted at Linken's holder.
  • Main target effectively takes 125/200/275/350 damage.

Second Ability

Ice Armor [Keybind: W]

Auto-Cast Allies
Creates a shield around the target friendly unit or structure, which adds armor and slows attacking melee units. Lasts 40 seconds.
  • Range: 800
  • Duration: 40
  • Armor Bonus: 3/5/7/9
  • Slow Duration: 2
  • Movement Speed Slow: 30%
  • Attack Speed Slow: 20%
  • Cooldown: 5 seconds
  • Mana Cost: 50
Lore: Originally crafted during his ambush for self-defense, the Lich is capable of enchanting others with a formidable defense of frost magic.
  • Can be purged.
  • If autocast is activated, Lich will cast this spell on nearby allied heroes who are attacked.
  • Allied units and buildings can be affected by the Ice Armor Debuff.
  • Frost Armor slow now stacks with the slow from Frost Nova.

Third Ability

Sacrifice [Keybind: E]

Target Unit Allies
Sacrifices a friendly creep and converts its current HP into mana for Lich.
  • Range: 400
  • Current Health Converted: 25%/40%/55%/70%
  • Cooldown: 44/36/28/20
  • Mana Cost: 25
Lore: It was not unheard of Ethreain to make examples out of those who contested his rule during his human life.
  • Does not deny enemy heroes experience.
  • Sacrificed creeps are turned to XP shared in AoE as normal creep XP bounty.

Ultimate Ability

Chain Frost [Keybind: R]

Releases an orb of frost that bounces up to 10 times, slowing and damaging enemy units. The first target is mini-stunned.
  • Range: 750 (850 with Scepter)
  • Bounce Distance: 575
  • Damage: 280/370/460 (370/460/550 with Scepter)
  • Movement Speed Slow: 30%
  • Attack Speed Slow: 20%
  • Slow Duration: 4
  • Cooldown: 120/90/60
  • Mana Cost: 200/325/500
  • Aghanims: No bounce limit
Lore: Almost universally considered the ultimate in frost magic, Ethreain's orb of frozen death strikes fear into those who dare stand against him.
  • Damage is blocked by Spell Immunity but it will still mini-stun and bounce. 
  • Only blocked by Linken's Sphere if holder is the primary target. Will still bounce regardless.
  • There is a 0.2 second delay between bounces.
  • Maximum damage to a single target (hit 6 times): 1680/2220/2760 (2220/2760/3300).
  • Cannot be dodged by invisibility.
