Albert Wesker is the main antagonist in most of the Resident Evil Series. In Resident Evil 5, he finally meets his demise at the hands of Chris Redfield and his new partner, Sheva.
Wesker was first introduced in the original "Biohazzard" or "Resident Evil" game on the Sony Playstation, when he leads the S.T.A.R.S team at the mansion. He double crosses his team to meet his own goals, as he is a double agent working for Umbrella.
Wesker also made an appearance in Resident Evil Zero. where he sent Bravo team of S.T.A.R.S against Umbrella's B.O.W's in order to gather battle data.
Albert Wesker "died" during the mansion incident in Resident Evil, but had injected himself with a proto-type T-virus which when his body was reanimated, caused him to have superhuman powers.
