Garen is the leader of one of the strongest guilds in Medonia, as well as the main antagonist in Soul Saga. He also holds a powerful position as one of the seats on the World Council, which is Medonia's official government. Garen has the ability to control the Inkheart, the monsters exposed to the Ink that spread thanks to The Cataclysm.
Garen's goal is to control The World Eater and its fellow dragons so he can rule the world. He doesn't think highly of Mithos at first, but once he shows some promise, he goes after him with the intent to stop him from killing the World Eater.
