Athena (Smite) - Overview

Athena, the Goddess of Wisdom, is a high CC, high defense tank just like Ares but a lot more fun than Ares. Her passive ability, after Athena uses an ability, allows her to do one ranged attack that does damage to all enemies it passes through. Her first ability allows her to dash forward passing and damaging all minions but stopping, damaging and slowing the first god she hits. Her second ability taunts all gods around her to focus her which is great for keeping enemies from attacking your teammembers in teamfights. Her ultimate allows her to launch to the skies and dash to an ally. This takes 4.2 seconds and during those 4.2 seconds the ally takes 25% less damage. Overall Athena has a great kit for teamfights as well as aiding teammates on the map.
