Frank West is a character and the main protagonist of Dead Rising, as well as the protagonist of Dead Rising 2: Off the Record. He is a photojournalist that used to cover many wars in the past. He is designed to be a normal man, which shows in his appearance, although the player can alter it with many different items.
Frank has appeared in many other Capcom games, such as the Lost Planet series. He is also a playable character in Tatsunoko vs. Capcom: Ultimate All-Stars and Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3. Frank appears in Project X Zone, as one of the Pair Units, where he is grouped with Hsien-Ko.
