Sanger Zonvolt is a character from the Super Robot Wars series of games. He is very honorable, and is reminiscent of a samurai in his demeanor and in the way he talks. Because of that, he and his machines always have a sword of some kind, usually a large sword called a Zankantou. He has had a long career as a soldier, making him very wise on the battlefield and able to see if an ally or enemy has potential.
Sanger has appeared in a number of games in the Super Robot Wars series, including Super Robot Wars Alpha Gaiden, 3rd Super Robot Wars Alpha, Super Robot Taisen: Original Generation, Super Robot Taisen: Original Generation 2 and Super Robot Taisen OG: Original Generations Gaiden. While he appears as a Rival Unit initially in Project X Zone, he later becomes a Solo Unit.
