Killer Croc is a supervillian from the DC Comics universe. His first appearance was in the Batman #358, which came out in April 1983. Killer Croc was born Waylon Jones and suffered from a form of atavism that imparted him with reptilian traits. Raised by an abusive aunt, he eventually ran away to join a travelling circus. After his circus was attacked and destroyed, he became hateful and began killing and eating people.
Killer Croc has appeared in almost every form of media, as well as many video games based on the DC Universe. These include the Batman: Arkham series, LEGO Batman: The Videogame, Batman: Dark Tomorrow, DC Universe Online, and numerous other titles.
