Rockstar North - Overview

Rockstar North is a video game developer that is based in Edinburgh, Scotland, and is most famous for the Grand Theft Auto franchise of games. It was originally founded in 1988 under the name of DMA Design, which received its biggest break when they created Lemmings. In 1999, the company eventually became part of Rockstar Games and it wasn't until 2002 that their name was changed to Rockstar North.
