Runescape is the largest free MMORPG in the world, it is developed by Jagex game studios. Runescape is a fantasy RPG game developed and released in 2001 by Andrew and Paul Gower. Runescape itself has over 200 million registered accounts, 10million of these accounts are active accounts and an average of around 100,000 players on at any moment.
Runescape takes place in the world of Gielinor, an ancient fantasy realm. Which is divided into different kingdoms, regions, cities and towns. Each region offers many different things including different types of monsters and bosses, resources to mine chop or farm and quests to challenge players to take them to new places and unlock mystical weapons.
New players begin in a secluded area, in which they are taken through a tutorial too learn the game, there is a set path to follow where they will learn the most basic skills in RuneScape for later use and development.
Players set their own goals and objectives as they play RuneScape, they do not need to follow any storyline they can complete this as they go through the game. They can train their skills, engage monsters and other players in combat. Players can complete quests at their discretion. Players interact with each other through trading,chatting or by participating in mini-games and various ather activitys around the world of Gielinor.
Runescape players have the option to upgrade to members which takes them to another part of Gielinor which is blocked of by the Taverly (Taverly is a town) wall. This land brings new treasure,monsters,skills and quests.
