Story behind the monsters
The first castlevania games used material from motifs and used horror characters such as werewolves, Frankensteins monster, the mummy, medusa, the grim reaper and Dracula himself. Some of the newer games have other mythical monsters.
Gameplay
the game franchise is an action platformer, made up of many enemies and obstacles to face through the levels. On the older versions you may jump up and down. You also have a whip, as your main weapon.
