MapleStory is a 2d side-scrolling role-playing game developed by Wizet and released on Microsoft Windows. In the game, players travel the "Maple World", defeating monsters and developing their characters' skills and abilities, and has other common RPG elements; such as forming parties to hunt monsters and forming guilds.
In July 2010, the Korean version of the game was patched under the name "Big Bang". Soon after other versions followed suit and have since received the Big Bang update.
