Aliens versus Predator is a science fiction first-person shooter developed by Rebellion and published by Fox Interactive. It was released in 1999 for Windows, Mac OS X, and later for Cloud (OnLive).
It is based on the Alien and Predator franchises as part of the crossover franchise Alien vs. Predator. It was unofficially ported to Linux in 2001 and Xbox in 2009, following Rebellion's public release of the game's source code.
