when u r really close to ur son u can go into teh kitchen at 6 pm and ur son will be sitting by the table and exlamation mark will apear above his head and say dday lets take a bath and you have 2 chooses 1 is next tyme and the other 1 is lets jump in if ou want ur son to like you more i suggest you say lets jumpm in note this will not happen daily
Box from the beach
When you are married to Celia sometime in the third chapter about Spring the 3rd at about 5 or 6 in the morning go into your sons room He will be lying on the floor by a box Ask what the box is and he will say he found it on the beach Say that it is cool and he will get all excited that you also liked it He will then tell you that there is a secret code on the side If you answer quotIt says Fragilequot he will say quotWow Cool You know how to tell what codes are Your like a spyquot This may make him look up to you or at least like you

When its stormy outside and you want to stop the rain visit a mine and do some digging As you emerge from the mine the rain will stop
Chinese checkers minigame
Bring your son to the place where you link Put it on the right side on the shadow and it will freeze You cannot pick it up or do anything else It can still move normally as if you were pressing X but it cannot walk around and you cannot pick it up Your wife will have to pick it up when it is its bedtime so you do not have to worry losing it It will also return to normal if you reset
Ducks
You can get ducks to stay in your chicken coop To do this build a pond in your pasture in Chapter 2 With the sickle cut an X pattern leading to the pond That night go to sleep late where you will wake up after your wife She will wake you and say there is ducks in the pond In order for this to work you must have room in your chicken coop One drawback is your chickens will start laying duck eggs
Earn Easy Money
If you own a seed maker and any type of tree you can easily get thousands of dollars When you shake the tree for the fruit dont sell the fruit Instead put it in your seed maker to get seeds from the fruit When the seeds are made sell them to Van for more profit
Easy items
To get free items like a Strange Sickle and a Tumtum go to the hippysong writers house at night This will only work slightly after midnight
Easy way 2 get Nami
My friend told me that if u propose 2 the other girls other than nami she will become jelous and like u more this cheat helps because nami is hard 2 get trust me i married her on the 10th of fall and gave her everythin she wanted each day
Find Out Who Loves You
To find out how much the girl of your dreams wants you look at her diary You can find Celias on her bed in the upstairs of her house For Molly you can look on the table with the flowers at the Blue Bar For Nami follow her to her room at the Inner Inn

When you obtain the fishing rod from Van try fishing from the bridge in between the town If your lucky enough you can catch a small fish called a Sharshark that goes for 600 units of money

Early in the game the best way to make money is to fish Buy the rod from Van and go up the river to where you see three rocks You can make over a 1000 in money a day Also if you cast and there are no bites for a very long time dont give up and dont recast either Wait it out and youll be rewarded with a Yamame or Big Yamame which go for 500 and 1000 respectively
Free Seed Maker
Befriend Daryl the scientist and wait until you see his trap 2 for catching the monster When it fails go to his house When you enter his house you will see an intermission sequence with him talking about the Seed Maker He will give you one when he is done talking
Get a cat
Befriend Romona Somewhere in Chapter 2 and up Romona will come to your house and let you name and have it
You will get a cat sometime in the second year in the second chapter Happy Birthday You will get the cat from Romana the lady that lives in the mansion Note You do not need to be friends with her
Get a goat
Starting in the second year you can buy a goat from Van It will give milk once per day for a full season then it will stop You can sell the goat milk for 115 G or make goat cheese and butter The goat cheese and butter sell for 155 G and 150 G However you cannot sell the goat
Get a horse
During the first summer of The Beginning somewhere around Summer 8 Takura will give you the horse He says that you ordered it then finds out that you did not order it
Get Different Pets
Other then regular animals you can get some other pets and animals in AWL If your a big animal lover try getting them all
Cat Visit Ramona every day and give her flowers and milk every day Eventully shell become your friend During the summer in Chapter 2 wake up before your wife and Ramona will give you a catI think all the wives wake up at different times my wifeCelia wakes up at 600 AM a lot The cat will be black and you can name it but it doesnt do really anything
Chiwawasp Im not too sure about this one but the Chiwawa is at the dig site in the tent I THINK you have to befriend the guy who digs there and then maybe hell give you the Chiwawa However Ive heard that you have to feed it so make sure you really want it
Lizard Befriend Makumakuthe white monster who comes out in the Winter and give him fish Hell eventully give you the lizard with the bandage on its leg It doesnt do anything however
Racoon Befriend Vesta or MarlinVesta likes milk and Marlin likes crops that you grew and eventully theyll give you a racoon It doesnt do anything but its soooo cute
Ducks Simply buy the Pond in the Food Storage Room They make eggs just like the chickens
Goat Buy it from Van With the goat you can make cheese and butter
Get ducks
Go to Takakura and you buy a pond for 2500 G some time during the Summer in Chapter 2 Then wake up later than your wife in the morning
The ducks will go into your pond sometime in the Summer of any year but you must have room in your Chicken Coop
In Year 2 buy the pond for 2500 G Then wait until you get married Make sure you have room in your chicken coop Use your sickle and make a two square long path going in a plus side pattern from the fence to the pond Make sure it remains cut Eventually your wife will wake you up telling you that there are ducks in the pond
Get Pets Chihuahua
During all chapters at the dig site you have to find the tablets There are six tablets one for every chapter of the game You have to find all six tablets and once you find all of the tablets and befriend Carter or Flora you will get the chihuahua

If you are having a difficult time getting Nami to fall for you consider taking the roundabout approach Break Muffy and Celias hearts by proposals to them Show Muffy and Celia the Blue Feather When they ask quotAre you seriousquot say quotNoquot By the end of the first chapter Namis affection should be high enough that you can propose to her

round fall or winter time a big white monster type thing will be walking around the area by the sprites home Be nice to it talk to it and give it fish it loves to eat and then some time before year two hell give you a lizard

Note Buy a seedmaker before using this cheat
You can get ALOT of money by doing the following
1 Buy as many seeds as you wantBanana seeds are known to be best
2 Plant them ALL one diagnol from another
3 Take good care of them until harvesting season
4 When ready harvest the trees
5 Place every plant in the seed maker
6 After the seeds are finished three days for each 12 crops you should have ALOT of seeds
7 Sell all of these seeds to Van for ALOT of money usually over 30000 GHint Keep some of the seeds to plant so you can make more money every year
8 Repeat the process with your extra seeds
Monster sighting
Go into your house before 900 pm Wait until 945 pm and walk out of your house This should start an intermission sequence where you will see Daryl walking into the woods toward the spring to find the monster that has been seen lately The monsters name will be Mukumuku Note You may have to be friends with Daryl for this to work

If you become good friends with Vesta give her flowers everyday then look for her in her storage room she will eventually give you the weird hoe Also if you become good friends with Dr Hardy he likes coins from the dig site and enter his house when he moves to town he will give you the weird sickle Give flowers to Gustafa everyday and when you can enter his house if he is friends with you he will give you a strange sickle Also become friends with Sabrina Kate andor Grant your friendship with one will eventually rub off onto the rest of the family Grant will give you an alarm clock to help get you up in the morning Kate and Sabrina both like flowers Finally if you become friends with Romona Subastian and Lumina Romona and Lumina like flowers and Subastian likes old coins gold ones only and eggs Romona will eventually give you a wooden watering can You can use the tools or just collect them They are a symbol of friendship with these people
Muffy
Muffy is an eligable bachelor in this game She works at the Bar with Griffen
If you do not marry Muffy she will marry Griffen
Her Diary location is in the plant of the backside of the Bar
If you marry Muffy your farm will be in bad shape Your son will be rude and run away when he gets older

Sometimes in the town Murrey will beg for money If you give him enough money he will come to to your door saying that since he has enough money that he will be returning to Popo Valley A couple days later he will come back saying he spent all the money on drinks

Do not keep your food in the storage room refridgerator If you do Murrey will steal it Instead keep your food in your rucksack or in the refridgerator in your kitchen
New seeds
Once you can use the hybrid function with Tarten you can create new seeds combine two of any seed that grows in the same way Eg two underground crops carrot and turnip a cady seed or 2 stem crops strawberry and tomato seed berrytoma seed or two tree crops you can then combine two different 2nd level seeds that grow in the same way 2 create a totally new plant that you can then name
PEOPLE DIE
All you have to do to become rich is buy one banana seed plant it and it will grow next summer
Take all the bananas and put them in the seed maker dont sell those seeds but plant them instead the next summer you should have alot of trees
Take all the bananas and repeat this process until all your gardens are full of bananas sell the rest of the banana seeds for alot of money each
Next year you can put all the bananas in the seed maker and sell enough so in case your trees die you will have enough seeds to replace them
Once you have enough you can keep making seeds and selling them
PS trees have to have room around them so plant them every other spot and never cut them down unless they stop producing seeds
Piano practice
If you walk into Romanas Vila around 1030 am you should start an intermission sequence that shows Lumina playing the piano and Romana telling her to quotPlay more freelyquot She will then stop and she will talk to you You will then be given a choice of what to say to her If you tell her quotThats OK have funquot she will tell you a story and you will be friends or become better friends with her
Planting
Use the following trick if you have a hard time planting with the watering can Use the watering can with the faucet by the chicken coop It will help you by spraying water instead of drops
Prevent offending girl
If you offend a girl whom you want to marry it will take longer to get a heart To prevent this when you do one of the intermission sequences with the girl she will talk to you and you will have to respond There are two responses that you can choose from One of them is good and the other is a bad choice If you choose a bad response wait until the sequence is over and reset the Gamecube You should wake up to the same day as the intermission sequence and can do the same thing that you did before to get the sequence This time make a good choice for the response
Price of seeds
Collect all the flowers shrubs and other plants found around
forgetmenot valley Van the traveling salesmen will buy anything you
find
Digging at the archaeology sight will get you good money too All of the
items that are not important to carter will be yours to keep Sell them
to van as well
When you milk your cow put the milk in the dairy shipping bin found in
the food storage house across from the barn You will get more money
from Takakuras sales then you would from Van Eggs from your chicken
that are nonfertilized should be sold in the dairy bin too
Go fishing on the bridge to The Farm and by the waterfall They are the
best spots to catch good fish Sell these to Van unless they are
Sneltsthen you should keep them incase you or your dog need food
Quick Cash
If you are having trouble making money gather up all of your fodder Fodder sells for 10 gold a piece and one sell of 99 pieces will get you 990 gold
Quick rest
Select the quotDiaryquot option and choose to go to sleep Save the game when asked then reset the Gamecube Load that saved game file to resume just before the time you went to sleep but fully rested
Sleep Without Passing Time
Select the Diary and choose to sleep Save the game when prompted to and then reset your GameCube Load the save file you just made and youll begin before you went to sleep but will be fully rested
Strange Hoe
To get the Strange Hoe you must befriend Tim the hotel manger He likes fruits
Weather Control
If you are disatisfied with your weather go to your TV and keep turning it on and off on the weather channel until it gives you the weather you want
Win All Horse Racing Bets
Before attending a horse race save your game ahead of time After the race ends remember who won the race then reset your GameCube and load the file you saved before the race happened Once the game is loaded return to the horse race and place your bets on the horse that originally won the race
