Mount and Blade is the perfect blend of RTS and action RPG, It has the troop and resource managment of games such as Age of Empires and Praetorians aswell as deep Political elements such as aquiring towns and villages, making lasting alliances with other charcters in the game, you can even start your own kingdom.
you start off as a wanderer with a background of your choice that determins your stats and gear when you arrive at a town of your choice after a short tutorial the game sets you loose on the kingdom of caldaria to make a name for yourself.
