Army Men: Soldiers of Misfortune Overview
Soldiers of Misfortune is a great beginners game that will help you to learn eye hand coordination and some strategy. Little Timmy is placed in his own bedroom and reduced to the size of the plastic army men he had set up. They take on a life of there own and are out to get him. Timmy will have certain tasks to complete to win each battle before moving on. Eventually he will find himself in a new environment, the kitchen and then his back yard. He will have at his disposal a jeep, a tank and an airplane. He will even have the ability to dress in the enemies uniform to get past the sentries. Timmy will be fighting the battles alone and he will be up against tanks, artillery, aircraft bombing raids and a number of enemies on foot. They will have machine guns, bazookas and rifles.
Timmy will find a number of weapons at his disposal, such as dart gun, tennis balls, bottle caps and a water gun. At times he will have to locate batteries to power a device or find a key card to open a door. You may find that the controls are little quirky at times but they can be overcome. The graphics are simple and the story line simple as well but the entertainment is more than ample. There are many hours of game play so be ready to spend a few evenings at the controls. Have fun.
